Established as the U.S. investment arm of a successful Argentine family office, Aguad Capital Partners acquires, operates, and grows established businesses across the United States. Backed by committed, patient capital, we combine an owner-operator mindset with institutional investment discipline and a long-term ownership horizon, allowing us to move decisively, structure transactions flexibly, and provide certainty of execution.
The family’s operating history includes building and scaling an industrial manufacturing platform from inception to more than 180 employees, with operations spanning manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and exports across Latin America. This hands-on experience informs our practical approach to evaluating, operating, and growing businesses.
We focus on profitable lower-middle-market companies with durable customer relationships, recurring or repeat revenue, healthy margins, strong cash generation, and defensible market positions. We are industry agnostic, with a preference for B2B services, and evaluate each opportunity on the quality of the business, its people, and its long-term growth potential.
Leadership
Juan Pablo Aguad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aguad Capital Partners and leads the firm’s U.S. investment and operating activities. Before establishing the firm, he founded and scaled an industrial manufacturing platform from inception to more than 180 employees.
His hands-on operating and M&A experience shapes the firm’s disciplined approach to underwriting, ownership, and long-term value creation. Juan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. He also completed graduate studies in Economics at Universidad de San Andrés, where he received a full-tuition merit scholarship.
